How to Participate:

Its easy to participate in the international Summer Sailstice and its free! Summer Sailstice participants who register automatically become eligible to win one of over 300 prizes from  sponsors, from yacht charters to sailboats to gift certificates from top sailing retailers. The Lobster Bake:

MHSA association members need not register with the international event to be eligible to participate in the Lobster Bake.  However, you must email your intention to participate to Peter Poulin at p.poulin@verizon.net before Saturday 5/24/08, AND your check must be received by Chuck Wayne no later than Tuesday, 5/27/08 (payment details below).  You can bring a guest, but please provide name(s).  This will be a rain or shine event.  Bring a lawn chair or blanket.

The Lobster Bake will be served late afternoon.

The per person price for the Lobster Bake is $35. Checks must be received no later than Tuesday, 5/27/08. Please send checks to:

Directions:

If you come by boat:  You can anchor in mud in front of Fairwinds, Peter and Sue Poulin’s Long Island home.  Approximate coordinates are:  43 41’ 38” N  70 09’ 36” W.  Enjoy sailing the bay and put in around 2-3 PM.  Once anchored, dinghy over to the dinghy dock on the jetty and walk up to “Fairwinds” at 500 Island Ave.

You can also come on the Casco Bay Ferry.  Below is the web-site and their sailing schedule.  You can take the 2:45PM boat and arrive around 3:30PM.  Or if you want to spend some time on the island and/or on the beach, you can take the 10AM boat and arrive around 11AM.
