The coast of Maine
is beautiful I'm told;
The wonderous islands
its bays enfold.
I thought, perhaps,
This time we'd see -
A glimpse of color,
the green of tree.
Alas the fates conspired
again -
As we Maine Hunters
searched end-to-end;
But all we found
was wet and grey.
Take heart, dear friends -
we'll be back this way.
